Først og fremmest et stort tillykke til alle de unge frisører
og kosmetikere, der nu med svendebeviset i hånden skal ud og
erobre verden. Det er et helt specielt tidspunkt i livet. Verden ligger og venter, og I kan ranke ryggen og være fagligt stolte over at
have bestået verdens bedste uddannelse inden for jeres fag.
Desværre er der i løbet af efteråret mange af jeres kolleger, der er
blevet hårdt ramt af konkursen i en af Danmarks største frisørkæder. Cha Cha Cha A/S gik konkurs i slutningen af september,
og 78 ansatte i ni saloner mistede fra den ene dag til den anden
deres arbejde.
Dansk Frisør & Kosmetiker Forbund har siden arbejdet hårdt for
at hjælpe de medlemmer, der er kommet i klemme. Og det har vist
sig, at vores samarbejde med Serviceforbundet fungerer upåklageligt. Det har været en uvurderlig hjælp for vores juridiske afdeling
at kunne trække på Serviceforbundet, der tidligere har håndteret
store konkurser i for eksempel flyselskabet Cimber-Sterling.
Fra den ene dag til den anden stillede de med syv mand og havde
en færdig køreplan for, hvordan man behandler en stor konkurs.
Det er jeg som forbundsformand meget taknemlig over, for det
betød, at vores mange berørte medlemmer fik både hurtig og
kompetent hjælp.
Og mange af jer har – desværre – jævnligt brug for hjælp fra os.
Også når det kommer til arbejdsskader i bevægeapparatet, som
der igen har været fokus på i medierne. I årevis har vi kæmpet for
at få anerkendt slidskader som en arbejdsskade, og vi har årligt
flere end 100 sager om frisører, der ikke kan arbejde på grund af
smerter. Men på trods af det kan de endnu ikke få erstatning.
Personligt kan jeg også mærke nedslidningen efter 30 år i
branchen, og jeg går – som mange af jer – til både kiropraktor og
massør for at holde smerterne ud, og nu må og skal Arbejdsskadestyrelsen ændre praksis!
For trods en ph.d.-afhandling, der bekræfter, at der er mange
frisører, der forlader faget på grund af smerter, og til trods for at
andre lande anerkender frisørers smerter som arbejdsskader, så
står styrelsen fast på, at der ikke er videnskabelig dokumentation
på området og afviser sagerne.
